Epsom Coaches Group recently proudly hosted the launch of Surrey County Council’s £750,000 initiative to create more apprenticeships in the county. Leader of the Council David Hodge, launched the campaign at an event attended by over 60 local business leaders.
The event was a great success and amongst the guests were Epsom Coaches own engineering apprentice Matthew Mutter, who that day had completed his final apprentice exam. Epsom’s work experience young people who had recently complete a successful trial under the government work experience scheme were also present.
Managing Director Steve Whiteway commented “it was a great pleasure to host fellow business’s and training providers today, it is vital we get our young people into work and this new initiative together with the co-operation of company’s large and small across Surrey, will ensure we do all we can to help ourselves and take advantage of the huge pool of talent in our young people”
